Tidal Streaming Problem with Lumin T1 Player

Hi Peter

About a month ago, users in Thailand have a serious issue with Tidal streaming even with the standard CD quality. Lumin takes about 10 - 45 seconds to load the first song, and hiccups between song randomly. I guess it may be the network connection issue, but, don't know where it originated from, the Tidal side or ISP.

However, when I used Audirvana Plus on MacBook Pro I face delay load for about 10 seconds only on the first song. So far, we use these two methods for workaround : 1) Use VPN network and/or 2) Increase memory buffer for songs.

Please kindly advise the workaround for Tidal issue.
 
Please go into router settings and try setting DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.

If that does not help, try releasing the internet WAN connection from router web page, then power cycle the router.

Already try both options, but still do not work
 
Please send a support request to Tidal. Or try Spotify. Or try Qobuz via creating an account using VPN to France or UK and pay with PayPal - VPN is not necessary for actual streaming.
 
I heard that the problem caused by submarine network cable in Europe which effects Tidal Operation in Norway. It should be solved by now. So, I will monitor the effect in the next few days.

The situation is more predictable. Delay for the first song load for about 10 - 20 seconds. No more hiccups.
