Tidal Free account is not supported

After spending a week helping a customer resolve a Tidal playback problem on Lumin, it was found that a Tidal free account is being used.

Tidal Free account, unlike Spotify, does not work on hardware streamers or Roon. This is a Tidal limitation, not a Lumin limitation.

To use a free account, please use Spotify Free. (Note that Spotify Free only works on authentic and certified Spotify Connect SDK implementation such as Lumin - it does not work on open source reverse engineered implementation used by some of our competitors.)

I wasn't aware Tidal even offered a free service. I feel if you are spending the money for a nice unit like Lumin you might as well pay for the music service.
