Tidal adds MQA icon to Cover Art

I noticed today when I opened up Tidal that they had added a small "M" for Master to the cover art, right next to the "E" for Explicit.

Hopefully I'm not Johnny-Come-Lately here...but I just saw this.

Since E means Explicit, my first reaction of seeing M is to interpret it as Mature Audience - in my location M is a symbol for TV shows not suitable for kids. :P
 
Actually only a bit of a help. There are still only 537 of the MQA ~2500 titles in Tidal listed in the Masters section. You still need to choose an Artist then list all of their albums to see which one have the "M" noted next to them. Try the Eagles as an example.

As far as I can tell the "M" notation does not yet carry over to Tidal within Roon, only within the Tidal ap.
 
I can verify that even though the Bluesound products currently support full MQA decoding, this new "M" notation is not currently being displayed in their app.

Bummer....was hoping that it would show up in Roon.

I remember just a few weeks ago there were only 1600 titles in the Tidal MQA spreadsheet. Now there are ~2600. At this rate, it's likely that we'll see all 3500 Warner (first batch of) MQA albums soon.
 
We've just submitted a Lumin app update to be approved by the App Store. It includes this indication of MQA album when accessing Tidal, and looks better than just a character M - that's part of the reason why it toke a week instead of a day.

I'm not Peter, but here's a direct link to the Tidal MQA Spreadsheet with a current count of 2640 titles and growing, the full list can be seen by selecting "The 2640+" tab on the bottom of the page. This list has been compiled by users, and many of these titles don't yet appear on Tidal under 'Masters'. Hope this helps!

Peter - Ive just upgraded my Lumin to 6.0.7 - is this the version your are referring to in your posting?

Peter..I am not sure I sent the 'private' message correctly so I will try it here....the Lumin app volume tonight is not holding its setting and is changing on its own. Any suggestions?

For others reading this, calloway has resolved this issue by rebooting the WiFi router, iPad and Lumin as suggested.
