:hey:I didn't know that an administrator could pull enough strings to close a thread. Just remember: with great power comes great responsibility.

or as I learned with my Krell amps, with great power comes high electric bills!
 
We take our role as Administrator very seriously. When we see a discussion going no where - we have the prerogative to close it. And that's what I did.

Everything that "needed" to be said in that thread was said, why keep it going?
 
Gosh guys, I was just trying to have some fun, look what I said. Heck, I wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition!!!!!

1: It’s a pun “threading” the needle. Get it, you closed a thread????

Not one mention of BOB was here, not a scintilla of a reference (until just now). I just wanted to be funny. I failed miserably and will never do it on this site again.

Look how seriously you take this thread even after I explain it was put in fun. So you know what you must do……

Well, you have to admit that you did not make that clear in the original post, no? You also have to admit that it is a little odd to post that, as it is even more obvious to what you are referring to and then there's the timing as well.
Not criticizing you personally or anything Barry, but speaking generally, sarcastic humor does not translate in written word in and of itself. It's a tricky thing. Reason = there is no inflection in written word so the reader has a difficult time, if not impossible time trying to decipher what is serious or sarcastic or even humor at times. Only humor made obvious works in writing. Look at a script for a comedy show and I bet you would have a time figuring out where it's funny if you did not know the show or had a frame of common reference, but see it acted out and you could break a rib laughing.

That said though: "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition"!:lol:
