Looks like this is the first public appearance of the new Delta series announced after the Sound United acquisition. Due to launch in mid 2019.

They look really good. Any perspective on the sound qualities?

I used to like the M600s.

From What Hifi:
The Delta Pre ($9,999) looks to be a well-equipped stereo preamp with a phono stage and digital inputs. Its MM/MC phono caters for up to two inputs, with gain and loading adjustment accessible via the front-panel touchscreen or companion control app. And additional features include a nine-step parametric EQ and Tone/Tilt control.

The Delta Stereo ($12,500) delivers 250 watts into each channel, with 12 watts of that delivered in Class A amplification, while the Delta Mono ($10,000) amplifier has a 3000-watt output, of which over 30 watts is Class A.

I've read some speculation elsewhere that the 3000 watt output of the Delta Mono is likely a typo :disbelief: ... but if not it's going to require some serious demands on your incoming AC power!

Looking at how long both models play in class A would suggest you are correct. Also only 30W in class A at a max output of 3000W would be weird.

I think it is a smart move on Alon's part to start pairing up with different equipment manufacturers at shows so perspective buyers see that there are more options for them than the usual "exclusive" pairings. As Mike knows Magico's will work with more than just a small group of amp/preamp combos.

I agree. Personally, I get tired of the snob aspect of this hobby where people say you need brand X to get good sound. Especially when brand X is some ridiculously priced amp.

Currently I am enjoying my stereo with my Cambridge-Audio 840E pre-amp ($1500), since my Pass pre-amp broke. I retire at the end of April so I just might hook up my Cambridge-Audio 840W amps to see how they sound with the Magicos. :)

I'd give it a try as they have more than enough power especially if you are bridging two of them. Plus as the weather heats up you might enjoy the break from the heat the Pass amps put off.
 
At least the mk2 generation of the S series is easier to drive than the previous one. Nothing like the arc welding power-hungry Magicos, like the M5 in the past.

Good point about the heat. Once the ambient temperature gets into the 70s I have to run the A/C when the Pass amps are on.
