These Bones

Pretty good sound from a Youtube vid.

I have never been to one of these types of shows. Do they ever demo this stuff with heavy duty Fusion music? Every time I see these vids of HE gear, it seems to be mostly vocals being demonstrated.

What positively crappy music, and I use that term very loosely, to demo ANYTHING!

I just listened to it in its entirety. On my PC speakers I heard more the room than anything else.
The sound quality; I would rate it average.
The music selection is not particularly my type of music, but that is only my own personal opinion.
...And from a youtube video's perspective; so accordingly. In real-life I might have a totally different view.

As for the real thing, the speakers; again, I wasn't there so I cannot comment properly.

* The speakers aspire to transparency, clarity, ...so I would chose a different music selection to transpire. ...Classical chamber music (Mozart, Bach, Chopin, ...), small acoustic jazz band with an acoustic bass player, a piano player, a trumpet player (or sax player), new age music of soft (harp) to mid intensity (tabla drums and synthesizer), and eventually the full orchestral symphony (Beethoven, Stravinsky, Copland, ...).

Vocals? That too. Vocal's rendition is a must, in any speaker type, shape and form. They're the human soul from the human chords. ...These bones.

No, I find they only use vocals or Diana Krall and such. I don't know exactly why this is. I mean vocal clarity is very important, but a real test would be with a recording where the focus is overall instead of mainly or emphasized on the vocals. I do know that I have had some equipment guys tell me they don't have anything else to demo with. I do find though that most times, even at shows, you may bring your own selections, although that doesn't mean they will agree to play them due to other folks who may be in the room not wanting to hear what you have. I have not heard of many problems in that area though.

Have I listened to this Youtube video? No, because I don't think listening to speakers or gear over a PC on a streaming video or whatnot is fair from the get-go.
