The Way, Way Back

Saw this flick on Sunday with Christine. We both really loved it and I highly recommend for anyone interested in a simple movie with that 'indie' feel. Steve Carell goes against his typecast here and it pays off, in my mind. Sam Rockwell stole the show, in sorts, with a great performance.

For sure. I seem to remember liking the soundtrack as well. The Guster song (from the trailer) was fitting, I felt.

Saw it yesterday...very enjoyable summer film. Excellent cast.

We saw it too. A good movie. Steve Carrell sure played a different role from those how he is normally cast and I thought Alison Janney was a hoot.
