The Ultimate MAGICO Experience for Audioshark Members - Saturday August 27, 2016

Well done Magico. Thank you so much for hosting fellow Audioshark members. Looks like a great time was had by all. You have given all of us a new perspective on your wonderful speakers.

Thanks for your impressions Mike, are the M series speakers on the same level sonically as the Q7 MKII?

Someone else might have a better picture but here it is.

Looks like an amazing day! What are those corner treatments?
RPG Modex Edge bass traps. Looks like they have placed them in front of some absorbers (or could be Modex Plate), which isn't the best thing to do. But all their treatment seems to be RPG products.

Q-Sub 15's. We heard the M3's without, then with, then without.

What was your impression on the bass quality from the Q-subs? Did they improve the sound in a meaningful way? I´m curious to know whether they are much better than other top competing subs. Thanks in advance.

Yes and I'm pretty sure I sold a pair during the demo to one of my customers who was in attendance. Enough said!

It was more than bass, it was an entire expansion of the soundstage width by at least 50%.

The technology in the Q-subs is truly SOTA. A totally inert cabinet flat to 10-15 hz with 10 different peq selections

They truly can eq a room 100hz and below.

More than palpable improvement. Holographic soundstage seemed fuller. Alon only recommend adding a subs to 3 way or higher full range speakers. They come 12,15 and 18 inch duel design drivers front and back array. Hugh aluminum cabinet. Improvement seemed greater to my ears with digital front end. Vinyl effects not as profound.

Mike you should be an endocrinologist, you sure know how to get the hormones flowing :) I never thought I´d lust after a pair of subwoofers.

Haha! Hey wait, is that why I have a knack for pissing off my wife for no apparent reason? [emoji6]

More on the Q-sub:

The Electronic Crossover and DSP Control System of the QSUB15 is extremely versatile and complex. When setup properly it will seamlessly integrate the QSUB15's with your main loudspeakers and provide similar sub/satellite performance that you enjoyed in the M3 / QSUB15 demonstration.

The Room EQ Wizard software is compatible with PC or MAC and is available online for free. The other software required is for the Omni-MICROPHONE and Magico DSP software.

I still can't get over the combined tweeter, midrange and BASS(!!!) of the M3's. Bloody seamless. I mean - gigantic planar like seamlessness.

Where did that bass come from? It filled the huge 24 X 33 X 13 room.

That Gregory Porter track Alon played is still in my head. Holy crap. I got goosebumps.
