The Soccer's Fan Thread - 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

I like Sterling good, yoong player. But no room at the inn for him with Real. If I were betting, Falcao would be my choice for Real. As for the Biter, depends on the penality, that might have been a 100 Million dollar bite out of Liverpool's pocket. He probably goes nowhere.

Forca Barca!!!!

Tot el camp
és un clam
som la gent blaugrana
Tant se val d'on venim
si del sud o del nord
ara estem d'acord, ara estem d'acord,
una bandera ens agermana.
Blaugrana al vent
un crit valent
tenim un nom el sap tothom:
Barça, Barça, Baaarça!

Jugadors, seguidors,
tots units fem força.
Son molt anys plens d'afanys,
son molts gols que hem cridat
i s'ha demostrat, i s'ha demostrat,
que mai ningu no ens podrà torcer.
Blaugrana al vent
un crit valent
tenim un nom el sap tothom:
Barça, Barça, Baaarça!

Dat! ^ :oley: :tumbleweed:

Money doesn't always patch up important holes. I should know. Spurs sold Modric and then Bale to RM (much to Annapolis Raider's delight) and we have gotten much worse despite the £120 mm it or so we got for the two of them!

One goal is all that truly matters; no sweat.

USA! USA! USA!

Oh, Germany had to sweat, no doubt. They didn't push for more for good reason, and the one goal had to be pinpoint accurate to get through. USA earned this trip to the knockout stages, as we were definitely the second best team in the Group of Death. We vanquished our Ghana demons, we outplayed Portugal, and we did what we had to do today.

We definitely have a good chance of against Belgium. We are playing with house money at this point.

Another note: 3 teams out of 4 from CONCACAF to the knockout stages!! 4 out of 5 teams from CONMEBOL. England goes home (as I predicted). Italy goes home. Suarez goes home. Great times!

You gotta love this:

"Former World Cup winner Maradona compared the punishment handed out to the Uruguay forward to sending him to Guantanamo Bay detention centre, while Suarez's grandmother claimed he had been treated "like a dog"."

:)

A little bit of time off will help him to reflect on his behavior on the field.
...And close his mouth next time, by wearing a mouth protector a la doctor Lecter; from 'The Silence of the Lambs'.

The guy is not a bad guy, he just acts like a vicious pitbull dog uncontrollable. ...So he's not a normal guy. The FIFA simply cannot accommodate him. ...Perhaps Maradona, few other people without brain and his grandmum.

Now, on with the World Tournament Football Cup! :) ...Who's going to go in finals??? ...Before we get there let's watch the games today, and later on...in the next few days.

But four teams cleared the pack: My team Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany.
Others are ok: Mexico, Chile, and *******.
