The new Naim SUPERNAIT 2 ....

Thank you Shane. I am really Naim curious. I am not sure when the integrated will get here but I am eager to play around with it. I've noticed about the upgrade path. OMG! Slippery slope is an understatement.

Watch out Joe

I used to have a full active Naim system many moons ago. I wish I still did sometimes as rock n roll kicks arse on Naim.

If you fall for the Naim sound, they have more upgrades especially around power supplies than anyone else. It can be a slippery slope. :exciting:

Don't make any ascertions on the sound unless you have had the gear plugged in for 3-4 days, preferably a week. enjoy the ride. :D

I also come from an active Naim system w DBLs. And Naim products escpecially the preamps do like to be turned on for several days before they hit their stride.

Slipery slope is an understatement

Be warned.

I will always have a Naim system no matter what else I have. It's a special musical experience.

Wow! That's quite a statement. I'll have to talk more about Naim with you.

What speakers are you using most with your Naim gear?

Lucky devil. I had active sbl's but after I moved house there were too small for my room. I wanted DBL's but the distributor would not bring one in. Eventually moved on to tubes, now somewhat back to ss.

Cheers

I had sbl's and they definitely would support a large room. I only had them passive. I then went to nbl's which is where I finally went active thus when I went to dbl's I was already there.

Joe

Naim matches up to Wilson very well. Right now and for the last few months I haven't had the naim set up. lack of room and too busy playing with D'Agostino.

I finally ordered the new Naim Supernait 2 integrated. If I am lucky, Saturday delivery or hopefully by Monday. This is one I've been thinking about for a long time. It should be a lot of fun on the Harbeth 40.1's.

Congrats Joe !

You're turning into a Brit !!

Next thing you'll do is start having Tea in the afternoon.

'alo mate!

I'd prefer a spot of tea. I am having fun now!

I can't wait until it all comes together.

At the High End Show in Rome.. I had the pleasure to play the Supernait-2 together with our Raidho D-1... What a fantastic sounding amp ..I could easily live with great amp togther with my Raidho D-3's.. Love a product like this :)

Thanks!

It's funny you say that because I know of others using Raidho and Naim. I am very excited at trying the combo!
