The Mike Bovaird/ Suncoast Audio/ AudioShark appreciation thread.

Although I didn't keep my Lumin A1 eventually, Mike made it the smoothest purchase I've ever had. Also for many other near purchases, Mike never made me feel like I've exhausted his patience. Hopefully I'll get to meet Mike in person some day.

Hmm...Mike..! Let see what I got from Mike...a pair of tannoy, preamp, mono block tube amps, tubes, stands....and away deal in person just the reason I want see Mike...just love to come to his house...love to bother him...because his just so NICE..!!!

Thanks Mark! Getting to be such good friends with Mike has been a blessing in my life. We talk almost daily about audio and a host of other things. He's one of the most honest and loyal people I've met.

He started this forum only because of the love he has for our hobby. He surely isn't in it for the money. Suncoast Audio was started for the very same reasons, his passion for our hobby!

Couldn't agree with you more, Mark..

Solid +1 from me here too :)

Love our long chats over the phone! Hopefully I'll find the time stop by FL or he'll find himself in CA sometime soon :)

cheers,
alex

Since this is a Mike love fest, I'm going to chime in and say three things I like about Mike:

1. He is smart
2. He is funny
3. He will tell you the truth

The first two wouldn't be important without the third, but when you put them together you have a person that I would be glad to call a friend.

Thanks for the follow-ups guys. I think this thread is important - Mike deserves more credit than he receives. Keep it coming.... :-)

I remember missing Mike's posts on another site and then "found" him over at Audioshark.
Great forum with tons of info.
I purchased speakers from Mike before he went into the audio business and it all went flawlessly.
Been happy to bump into Mike at RMAF in 2013 and in AXPONA this year.
Thanks for a great site Mike!

He's a complete and utter jacka$$... but then again, so am I. It's why we get along.

Cheers Mike. :)

I too enjoyed meeting and working with Mike a couple of weeks ago.

But the thing that I noticed that set him apart - IMO - was the way his kids looked up to him, and how much attention he paid to them. I am fortunate that I have a good relationship with my kids today as I wasn't there much for them when they were growing up. Thought I needed to be trying extra hard to build something for them when the real fortune (them) was already on the premises...

Getting our priorities in order when we lead busy lives is seemingly tough to do - Mike seems to have gotten that right, along with work, Audio Shark and his (all of our mutual) audio addictions.

Kudos!!!

Fairly new shark. Bought a Aurender N100H from Mike. The transaction was smooth and easy and his follow up showed genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Now if I could just get some of his toys!

He will be so successful, i will never see him at sun coast audiophile meetings!I was hoping he would come to my house and make suggestions.
He is the real deal!

I do need to make the drive up to see you Francis. I would have loved to have been at that meeting you hosted, but I was out of town looking after my Mom. The guys in the club are saying it was the best meeting/best sounding system of the year!
