Anyone going to watch?

For sure, the BBC might wish to kick itself in the butt :).

I guess no management prescribed necessities anymore to feature 'affordable family cars' in the show...

Hell yeah, I'm going to watch it. I went out and got an Amazon Prime account specifically for these guys!

Does anyone know when the first episode actually airs?

I saw rumors about Nov 18th.

The Grand Tour is a weekly series that starts on Friday November 18[SUP]th[/SUP] and each episode will be an hour long. The trio have signed up to present three 12-episode series, a total of 36 episodes.

Clarkson is reportedly set to become Britain’s highest-paid TV host after signing up to The Grand Tour for a whopping £10 million a year with May, Hammond and producer Andy Williams not far behind. He earned £1million an episode with Hammond and May paid half that.
Amazon is believed to be spending £160 million over the three years which gives each show an individual budget of £4.5million. This makes the Top Gear episode budget of £500,000 pale into comparison.

Did anyone else catch the first episode yet? That Porsche 918 was killer!

Of course! These three are the only reason I got a Prime account! And I got it the week they announced that they were going with Amazon. Awesome music, awesome material, awesome 4K, and awesome trio! I really liked the way they started off the show, with the three of them meeting up on the freeway like they did.

Watched it today and had a good laugh, those guys are just bonkers. Liked the US/ UK plays all once in a while, anything not 8 cylinders being communist. The three celebrity appearances were also nice.

Ferrari also got a nip in the butt with Ferrari 'the Ferrari', while 371 km/h at the end of the first straight at Estoril was definitely not unimpressive.

What about that part when Jeremy didn't have the McLaren P1 set properly and the car got all squirrelly at the end of the first drag race?! :disbelief:

That was scary! That P1 seems confusing as hell to set the launch control.

I'm looking forward to see the demolition of Clarkson's house in the next episode...
