I remember the Audio Research ST-70-C3 version of the St-70 , also there is one on Audiogon , also the Van Alstine version Ultravalve amplifier is the original Dynaco ST-70 I've heard that one and its very nice. Looks nice.
After owning and rebuilding many ST70's it's great to see that they have moved the RCA's to the rear.
I personally am a fan of tube rectification, but understand that S.S. rectification is more inline with a more modern approach that this piece has. That along with the cost savings of S.S. rectification.
Price seems reasonable.
I wish them success.

those early ARC ST-70-C3 were sold as kits through Old Colony and are quite scarce. I came so close to a NOS kit about a year ago and wish I had a second shot. Welborne Labs made a nice kit before they shut their doors. Curcio still offers upgrades and complete rebuilds which just leave the original iron and chassis everything else is his proprietary design.

Roy Mottram of Tubes4hifi offers some nice upgrade boards for ST70's with several driver tube choices. Makes a nice improvement over any vintage stock ST70. Well written installation instructions and quality parts.
