What improvement do you experience over your Zus?
I would say the speaker is more neutral through the midrange with better resolution (vocal tremors and decay in particular). Imaging and soundstage are more modern as well, but all of this isn't at the expense of good tone. The Devores are also more extended in the treble, but aren't fatiguing in the least.
The Zus are more dynamic (and can run on SET amplification, unlike the Xs) and I prefer their sealed bass (so far). With 2 small ports, the Devores are going to take some more time working on position to give the most even bass performance and less overhang, although I moved them a few inches inward and that helped quite a bit. Will probably try and move them an inch or two further in the room next.
The good thing is I have well over 300 hours on them, so the break-in is done
