We watched Tenet last night. We all (4) walked out trying to figure out this movie.
There is a lot going on and my best suggestions read up on the plot. It goes in some many directions it is very hard to follow. Also view this movie with sub titles as the dialogue get's tough to make out at times.
Most people will think this a flop and I don't blame them. Visuals are good. I would suggest watching it reading up on the plot then watch it again.

Took me a few tries to figure out inception, but that show had the substance to watch 3 times, my first watch of tenet didn’t intrigue me enough to want to understand. They spent too little time creating the characters. My .02

An old article on T E N Ǝ ꓕ ... almost a year old.
Tenet's 'Inversion' Logic Explained - Den of Geek

I've watched this film three times, I've read several articles, the whole shebang.
With time I've learned to understand it better. But films of that genre are a different type of entertainment; they are more an exploration into another dimension. They require an acquiescence from the viewer, a more complex perspective that cannot come from a single viewing or without some readings.

It doesn't really matter that the dialog is hard to decipher @ times; the full movie is.
It's not your regular sci-fi; it's a course in the pursuit of time from Christopher Nolan's brain impregnated in ours...the viewers' own brain.

It's a tough film to rate, because it's a moving target on many aspects of cinema critics.
That's my own take, without any influence, without any bias, raw and unedited in the now.
What's your pleasure?
