Since I try to listen to every new release on Qobuz each week, I don't have a lot of time to listen to anything too many times.

But I find myself returning to this one (four parts, actually) regularly.

Fantastic band. I've seen a few iterations of the Wheels of Soul tour and enjoyed them all. My personal favorite was when they were joined by the late great Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and Doyle Bramhall Jr. in 2015.

The 24/192 Qobuz stream sounds great, to boot.

If you haven't seen his early videos. Go to YouTube and search 13 year old Derek Trucks plays with Allmand Brothers Band and one where he is playing Layla.

He use to be on Don Imus's show from time to time. Always fun to watch.

Great band! I too have seen them several times and it's always a fun show. Even Derek and Susan's solo stuff is really good.

I'll have to give this one a try. I may not like all of their tracks but "Midnight In Harlem" off their Revelator album has been in my "Favorite" playlist for awhile now.

Yep, I was lucky to see Derek with the Allman Bros. quite a few times. Interesting how his playing has evolved since then.

Listening to this right now! Thanks for the recommendation.

You might also then like Susan Tedeschi's Hope And Desire CD.

You might enjoy their contribution to this. It was the first thing I heard by Tedeschi and was instantly a fan. (The rest of the album is really great too). I’ll have to check out some of these other things posted here.
