When this is certified, it does not depend on Roon.
Before it is certified, and if Roon releases its MQA Core decoding, then everyone using Roon will be able to get the MQA Core (first unfold to 88.2/96kHz), just like Tidal desktop app or Audirvana.

I re-read my first impressions on fully developed MQA in Lumin, which I wrote on July 12.
I still think the sound is softer, with less digital edge, but these days I'm wondering, we're not missing out on some of the musical excitement with MQA ?.
Probably the addition of the Denalli 6000 T has brought a benefit to my system, which makes me lately not so clear that I prefer Flac 44.1 / 16 or MQA Studio.
