Talk me out of a devialet 200....

Guilty! Running two d200s now which is of course called the d400. Happy and no plans to change anytime soon. Expecting new speakers in January so we will see how I feel then, but I kinda feel like I'm at a good stopping point and will most likely stop here for a good long time. :D
Are these Speakers SAM compliant?

Great to hear! Congrats on the second Devialet. What kind of differences have you noticed going from one to two?

So, the thing is, I introduced the second devialet and the torus power unit on the same day so I'm not sure what to attribute the changes to, but I definately did hear a very noticable change. I would describe the sound now as smoother and less prone to thinness. The sound is fuller and richer. It's a definate improvement. In fact, the addition of the second devialet, SAM, the torus, and the nordost products, dramatically changed the sound of my system, so much so that I've come to have doubts about the order I placed for PMC fact 12s 3 months ago. The fact 12s were ordered specifically to add a warmer richer sound and that is no longer lacking from my system. However, admittedly I am still anxious to hear them.

Of course, you'll be subtracting a variable; until you get enough of us to vote for your 12s :)

yeah, that's a drag. I anticipate a very long wait before Devialet has SAM for the fact 12s. Fact 12s are made in pretty limited quantities so it won't be easy for devialet to obtain a pair.

Sorry to revive this thread but I am also finding myself in a similar debacle. I'm reeling between the Devialet 200 and a Hegel H360.

All my music is on my PC and have started using the streaming service, Tidal, to expand my library. I'm streaming everything through a Squeezebox Touch, connected to a dac and then integrated amp. I have some small Totem Arro speakers at the moment but they won't be there forever. What I'm wanting is this amp purchase to be the last one.

Jax, do you still have your setup? How has it treated you overall? How do you find the user interface?

Appreciated.

Welcome msommers. If a big part of your listening is Tidal streaming, the Hegel H360 is an excellent solution. The H360 is a big step up from the H160 and the H300 it replaced. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how it compares to the Devialet 200.
