I have a folder which has a mix of different tracks from different albums and I've embedded each track with its album cover.

I like folders to show the album cover, or as in this case which has a mix of tracks from different albums, the album cover of the first track.

I have embedded each track with its album cover, but the problem is if I put inside this folder a folder.jpg of the first track, it will not show the embedded covers, all the tracks now show the first tracks cover.

Is there any way of getting round this?

In my experience some players will display the art embedded in the individual track if there is no "folder.jpg" file but I can't recall if Lumin does this.
An alternative way to accomplish what you want is to make and save a playlist with the files you've grouped together.

Please try this: rename the folder.jpg to something else such that it is not recognized as an image file. MinimServer Rescan. After it completes, in Lumin app, Reload Music Library for MinimServer.

I forgot to mention that I'm not using MinimServer but connecting an external hdd to the T2 and using BubbleUPnP on my Pixel 4a.

Quite simple in the end. Don't know why I didn't think of it in the first place.

I just put all the individual tracks into another folder. This allows me to show the cover of the first track and to show the embedded covers from each album when playing the tracks.
