Starting at $11,300/pair.

A giant killer. T+A started as a speaker manufacturer. These are transmission line speakers.

That’s a looker for sure. It’ll undoubtedly be compared against A3.

BTW, how do you get your Discrete to display blue font?

Love the rack too.

Any initial thoughts, Mike? How do they compare to the A3’s?

I won’t start that. [emoji41]. People have to come and hear them. Very impressive. Very cohesive. Smooth as silk tweeter. I’ve always liked a good transmission line speaker.

Mike, do these speakers sound like the T+A Solitaire 1000/2000. Different design, but have you heard the 1000/2000 Solitaires?

Yes, quite similar.

Hi Mike, how does the CTL S2200 improve on the TCD110S that it replaced? At a glance, it looks like T+A cut some cost (one less driver, lighter cabinet).

I'm with you on transmission line speakers (my point of reference is Acoustic Zen Crescendo, however I am looking to upgrade from Tannoy Kensington).

Thank you.

I never had the chance to hear the TCD110S. But the 2200’s are quite good.

Mike, It's nice to see you're giving the lesser known line some representation.. The products can compete with anything at
their price point and many higher priced brands.. They need to be seen, handled, and heard. Best of luck..

Very well said. I've had T+A for a long time and it never disappoints. I consider the T+A PA3100HV one of the best integrated amps on the market. I do dearly miss their PDP3000HV as I felt the sound was just beguiling and the build of that transport mechanism was unparalleled. Would love to see a PDP31000HV with the latest network integration. It also helps that the brand has proper T+A reps and not a nightmare distributor anymore.

Too bad because amazing brands such as T+A are many times left out of potential customers research when they probably would have been the best choice.

For example, when/if it comes time to step-up my speakers I would love to compare T+A, however I have no chance of listening to them and comparing :(.
