Switched to Class D or get left behind?

I have stopped believing the word "Preference". Its not just preference. I have sat in a room with 5 or more well respected ears. It was a DAC compare. It was plainly obvious and immediately heard by all the sonic difference and which sounded more like real instruments.

What's wrong with a integrated with built in phono. The Primare that AJ said bested the Dartzeel and Gryphon has a built in phone and DAC. Just pop in a card.

The obvious answer is which is best. To my, surprise the phono stage in my 526 actually sounded better than my external AcousTech which was a Sutherland. I'm sure if I wanted to spend the money or cared I could buy an external stage to best the one built-in.

You've stopped believing in preference when 5 people preferred something. Ok.
I was in a room with 500+ respected ears comparing class A to AB, that heard plainly obvious and immediately sonic differences which sounded more like real instruments. See my earlier post. Or the Caltech study. All kinds of things can cause preference.

That was still a joke, fyi.
I don't know I believe much of what you say anymore as again, you seem to be making stories. I stand behind what I say. When I and everyone say we hear attributes that are sonically superior to another product, the product is superior. Ears are excellent tools.

The one where I copy/pasted your post, yes, as blatantly joking as possible. The large scale A/AB oops D blind test, no.

Yes, but did any of those ears know what a control is? Who measured and matched the voltages to 0.1 or better? Did any of those ears comprehend the implication of not doing so?
If you all preferred that DAC or the $90 pricetag wine more, terrific. Enjoy.

You say we can't trust our ears and everyone is biased yet want us to believe your speakers are preferred that would be a contradictory unless you somehow bias listeners to your speakers before hand.

No science does, even though you can't understand it.
yet want us to believe your speakers are preferred
Not what I said. I said I would come to your home and put my Titans up against your JBL/MLs in front of peers and see who is laughing. I can say that with a great deal of confidence having many many people who have heard both, including the owner of your JBLs. You have every reason to avoid such a scenario.

You can't know what a red herring fallacy is, speakers are not amplifier class (thread subject) or DACs. There is zero JND needed, anyone with brain function knows there are huge differences with speakers/rooms, the only blinding needed would be for simple preference, not whether there is any difference whatsoever as in D vs A/AB or functional DACs. The latter having zero evidence in support.
Don't worry keyboard warrior, the worlds smartest dog is safe hiding at home ;-)

So you preferred one EQ over another.
We all have preferences, some for that 15 ported box + horn 1930s retro sound, others have much much higher, modern standards for levels of fidelity. No big deal.
