Suncoast Audio welcomes Fyne Audio, SimAudio and Hi-Fi Man.

Looks like the 340i should be on my list also.

Oddly the first sentence in the Owner Manual goes like this....Attention, Do not ingest the batteries.....

Make one wonder who the target audience is...LOL

So Mike, these are nicer looking units than the Naims, how do they compare? Do they have any tube like qualities?

To early to tell. For Sim, I’m looking at their lower priced items. The ACE, the $400 Phono, their excellent transport, their unique preamp/DAC, etc.

The Fyne Audio F-10 and F-12 look fantastic, an update of the dual concentric speaker with a more contemporary aesthetic. How do they sound?

Outstanding. They had a few rooms in Munich, including a room with the F-12’s and the sound was incredible. They are very efficient and easy to drive. And they have a whole lineup of speakers across a wide variety of price points. From the very affordable to the top dog F-12.

I had a chance to meet many of the folks behind the company. They’re all very experienced from their many years at Tannoy.

Here is a video on the F-10:

I am using the Simaudio MOON Neo 260D-T transport with my Yggdrasil Analog 2 DAC. Excellent transport that delivers sweet music.

As a lifelong (well, almost as long as my audiophile portion of my life) Tannoy lover, I'm really interested in what Fyne does. I see they've added some new higher-end models since I last checked their site!

Yes, the F-10 and F-12 were one of the highlights at Munich. Fantastic sounding. But even for $4800/pair you’re look at the 502SP and it’s very efficient, easy to drive and amazing sounding. The F-10 and F-12 are on another level. Incredible.

Wow! Very nice to hear. Just curious, what ballpark price are the F-10 and F-12 running in? My current Canterbury GR could be the speakers for me to the finish line (haha, I've said that a couple times), but I worry about the direction of Tannoy under its current owner, and therefore availability of support/parts in the long run. On paper the F12 is pretty darn close to the Canterbury (sensitivity, extension, etc), but wow those cabinets are different (and much heavier)! Very very slick looking in the glossy white & black finishes.

Agreed! I put the prices up on my website:

Just click on the speaker.

Nice! If these had come out 2 years ago, when I built my current system, I'd be ALL OVER it. As it is I'll be keeping an eye on these. Thanks for the info and impressions!

Mike.......If I were building a new sound system, Simaudio MOON would be on the short list. Good to see them under your roof.

agreed, SimAudio Moon is greatly underrated by my reckoning. Ive owned and used several of their pieces over the years. Their phono preamps are an object lesson (IMO) on what the SOTA in SS sounds like. Ive been through a bevy of SS phono stages of late including Burmester, BMC and Whest. the Moon 810LP was superlative and outshone by none.
