Suggestions needed for an amp to power Revel F52`s

Probably like an old MC162, but that's about it. You'd be pushing your luck. I'd look elsewhere. There are better bargains... The problem is you're talking about going from tube to SS. If you want the same kind of sound, you're going to pay dearly -- and you will probably never even get it. SS just sounds different.

Tough one, I'd keep my current amp and save up for the big hurt -- a more powerful tube amp. If you're a tube lover, you'll always pine for that sound and just drive yourself crazy looking for SS that has that same quality. Move up to ARC.

Can you get a used McIntosh stereo amp for that kind of coin?

I have been going through a system transformation for the past few months, and was in a similar position. I had an Ayon Spirit III tube integrated with tube-friendly Nola speakers. The ayon was a beautiful match with them, but when I bought Revel Studio2's the magic didn't carry over. It wasn't a problem of volume (it would play loud) but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was asking too much of the amp. I got a Hegel H20 amp and P20 pre and it is a clear upgrade in almost every way. You could probably pick up one of their integrateds in your price range.

My F52s have plenty of everything being driven by an MC7106 5 channel amplifier. I could but have never had the need in my use to bridge a few channels as the "basic" power of two channels seems more than enough. Now I use this as the front end of a theater so am in a high WAF impacted environment.

The F52s fight above their weight. I assume you have readjusted their lower and upper EQ settings after your treatments? Perhaps even look at adjusting their placement?
