Hi There,
I’ve just become the proud new owner of a $20 Stenocord Model D that’s in particularly good condition.
I’m curious if anyone knows anything about some of the connection points on these. I’m specifically curious if I can swap out the connection the Mic/Speaker/Controller (apparently it does all three with it’s very proprietary 12 pin connector) as the handset has a beauty male connector but the female connection point has been removed from the chassis for some reason.
I’m generally just curious about repurposing derelict electronics that still work. This thing has tubes and some sort of magnetic tape (or rubber tube?) reader in it. Would love to turn it into some strange crude audio unit.
Happy to provide more info, but I do not have much
