Is there a simple solution anyone might know of? No desire for a sub woofer, 5.1 etc; mainly more clarity in the spoken words.

It has been awhile since I set up something for the living room. I have the TV on the wall with a 3.1 system, Marantz slim line receiver and Revel in-wall and sub. That was when we'd still spin a BD once in awhile. My wife uses that TV mostly in hindsight I should have used a soundbar for easier use.
A couple dealers have told me that soundbars is what most average viewers are wanting now.

Then maybe different cover (like a fabric grille)? I would think that the slotted acrylic plastic cover could partially obstruct/interfere with the sound.the Matisse line has covers, already have them
