Sonus faber venere s

Don't be , they are truly amazing speakers
The Venere 3.0 is not even close to its performance

My prices are not the same as in the US, can you tell me what is the US Retail price?

they sound like a great bargain!

wonder how they compare to wilson sabrina and focal sopra

they look great!

They are going to be around 7-7.5k in the US

The Sabrina's are another league

Really? My bad then. What HiFi? says 3798 GBP. I found this site claiming they will be 5000 USD: robbreport.com (can´t post the link).

Hi.. I'm new here.

Currently I have a pair of Focal Chorus 826V and wanna get new speakers. I'm interesting with Sonus Faber Venere S and Dynaudio Excite X38. Anyone had experience with both of these speakers?

Really appreciate any inputs.

The Sonus Faber U.S. Website states $4,999 for black or white, and $5,499 for wood finish. I'll be buying a pair in Thailand at a price comparable to these prices. Seems very reasonable pricing.

Wow, these are some good looking speakers! I'm not familiar with the sound of SF, are they good with all types of music or are they better suited for acoustical or vocal type?

Well for me the Vanguard is pretty powerful but it´s relative I guess ;) I´m going to use Hegel H300 and HD12 in my set-up. 1 week until I get my pair.

I'll be getting a pair also. From the photos from highEndguy, it appears the set up might require quite a bit of toe-in and distance from back wall. I'm a little concerned with available space in my living room. What do you think would be minimum amount of space from the back wall and with just a small amount of toe-in?

I heard they are supposed to have some space but I dont have the room so what can you do? They are after all almost 50cm deep.

What finish are you going with?

I'll go with the wood finish. They look gorgeous and will go with the rest of what I have in the living room. Also, I think the wood finish provides warmth. My second choice is white, but anyway my dealer only has them in black and wood.

Ok, sounds great. When are you getting them? What components are you pairing them with?

I live in Thailand, but am visiting relatives in the U.S. So I plan to purchase them as soon as I return to Bangkok at the end of this month. My shop already told me they have them in stock. I'll be using the Parasound Halo integrated amp and the Oppo BDP 105D multi-disc player, among others. Cheers

Beautiful setup... congratulations on the new speakers!

I have no real opinion either way on where a product is assembled. I guess if it is built correctly, whoever actually works the tools does not matter to me. Where they are designed / engineered is he most important to me. My speakers are British designed and engineered but made in China. I guess that is the price of admission to make them affordable to me.

But I do have mixed emotions on this one a bit. It was important to me that my Mercedes Benz stated made in Germany on the door frame. But that is because, in my experience the Germany factories tend to put out a better final product than factories that some of the manufactures have in other parts of the world.

I got this today regarding Venere S:

thank you for contacting us.

The Venere S is a “Made in Italy” project, but we decide to put “Designed and Assembled in Italy” to distinguish the quality of Olympica Collection and the rest of Homage and reference products.
Venere S is entirely assembled in our production dept., the cabinet and all the details are made by our Italian artisan suppliers (the same we use for all the speakers of our catalogue),driver and crossovers are assembled by our engineers but for Venere S we used some components that are not Italian.
For this reason Venere S back plate says so.

Do not hesitate to contact us for any further information you may need.
Best regards,
