Actually was just "talking" to Thorsten and the iFi DAC will actually do 8x DSD via Asio 2.2 and Windows. Mac is only 4X DSD.

Interestingly so far that 4x DSD sounds better than uncompressed WAV file when ripping a RBCD. Scary that 4x DSD rip is huge improvement over the the conventional RBCD. In fact, the normal CD is almost unrecognizable. And the CD was one of the best sounding CDs I've heard (Music for the Motherless Child on Water Lily-originally a two track recording on 1/2 tape done by Kavi on a specially built deck from Tim.)
