(Solved) - Lumin Cannot Detect Music Server

Re: Lumin Cannot Detect Music Server

Does Peter still post on this board?
Yes, but it's Chinese New Year so China and Hong Kong take the last 2 weeks of January off. Back to normal on Monday, but obviously a backlog of stuff to go through.

Re: Lumin Cannot Detect Music Server

Just an update
-I believe I am having an issue with my wifi extender now...so I will reset that again.
-I noticed that the Lumin has a reset button on the back, I will reset that if the extender works and I still do not see the USB drive.
-I will see about logging into my router and see if the Lumin is being blocked somehow.

I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for helping me with this. Much appreciated.

Re: Lumin Cannot Detect Music Server

Wasn't aware of the wifi extender but yes if you changed ISP's you will have to do a factory reset on the extender and start over as when it was new. The new provider has a different domain and DNS and the extender was still looking for the old provider while your iPad was signed into the new one. Once you get the extender reset and seeing the network you will have to re-boot the Lumin and the iPad to get them all linked up again as before the ISP swap.
