Hello all,

I just wanted to see if anybody has seen or even has speaker covers. I have seen a couple pics of covers on Sonus faber speakers. I am not sure if they came with or were bought specifically for, but they looked nice and fit well. The piano black finish shows fingerprints as well as dust and I was hoping to cut down on that with some covers when they are not in use. Any and all help welcome, thank you!

Note: Not to be confused with grills.

Something kind of like the picture below.

I would think you could give the measurements to a shop like a tailor or something and they could make you something - probably quite cheap. You may have to find the material - but I'm sure you can.

Sean,

My Futura came with the cloth covers from SF..

SF Guarneris (used to have them) do come with beautiful speakers soft covers. I never used them honestly, since they were always being played, and I could not have conceived of putting them on, then off...particularly with the silk grilles. But nevertheless, your question is yes, SF Homage speakers all come with beautiful covers. I also had Strads years ago.

I know this doesn't help you, but the Magico Q1s came with a velvet cover just like you are wanting.

How about a pillow case?

However - I think Mike is right. Custom, is the way to go. I would make them with maybe a velcro side so they were very easy on and off.

How about a nicely embroidered or plain table cloth.

They are relatively inexpensive, readily available and come in many sizes, colors and patterns to fit any speaker or decor.

Just toss it over the top when you're done listening. I don't think you really want something form-fitting that you have to spend time putting on and taking off.

Thank you all for all of the ideas so far. I really do appreciate it. I have been just placing soft 100% cotton t shirts over the monitors when not in use but that didn't seem to pass the girlfriend test, despite functioning just fine. I was commissioned to find a more eye-friendly option.

You might even be able to take the fabric to a dry cleaner that does alterations. You could always get your girlfriend a sewing machine for Christmas and she could make them for you. :woot:

Sean, stop wasting your time to find it or make one. Put your Dyn for sale and buy the Evo from Joe and it will come with nice socks ( They call it "socks")

:P

Joe .. Seriously if I didn't buy this house your EVO would be in my room
