I had the opportunity to hear this set up V1 P1 C1. While I realize they are on the expensive side.
I have never heard anything as clean or crystal clear before. This will be my bench mark for now.
They do things differently like separating the boxes for voltage and current gain as well as using batteries. Rather than explain exactly what they do I am providing a link.

I was listening to Saga with Wilson Benesch Cardinals. Great speakers in them selves but The Saga system is what shone through for me. No nothing in background.
 
I will try to give those a listen...local audio lounge opened backed by investor in Siltech and Crystal. Thanks for the heads up.

I listened to this combo last year at an audio store in London. They were driving a pair of Wilson Benesch speakers. Sounded very good.
 
The store's name is Audio Lounge. A small multi level townhouse with several listening rooms. Very nice people. They also had D'Agostino and ARC - can't remember what other brands they carry.

I'm hoping to get some more ICs soon which will be an upgrade from WireWorld Platinum Eclipse G7. The AB comparison should be interesting.
