Sia-030?

Will probably sell for much less than that -- I would think closer to $10000 or maybe even a little lower. There was a nearly new SIA-025 on audiogon in May that did not sell for $11900.
Anshul

Especially when there will be many used SIA-025's on the market for $15K or more less. It better be a great 5 watts.......

If you want a cool running Amp that has a lot of power, the Aavik U-300 could be an option.
Have to say that the Aavik really started to shine in my system after the addition of a dCS Rossini player, it really likes the 6V output of this player.

I have listened to a Diablo 300 in a different system, my guess, the Aavik is not that far off.

For 30K we’ll need a bit more than sounding nice... more like bombastic, extraordinary, spectacular [emoji3].

Still.. very little ,"press". I wonder if it has anything to do with the new distributor, similar to Accuphase with pricing and distribution... I enjoyed my SIA-025, and I'm still interested in the potential improvements...

Should I sell my SIA-025 Mk2+SS-025+Goebel Lacorde Statement XLR - Biamping-Combo and buy an SIA-030 instead?[/FONT]

you would spend more to get the same, or much more to get really more
At lower price points, I'd agree, but it's my belief that at some price point separates overcome some of the compromises made in integrating the amp/pre functions into a single chassis. (I'm opining here as a Gryphon Diablo 300 owner.)

at some pricepoint there is no more integrated to compare:)

a diablo300 for about 15k....imho not possible any separates for that money will come close.
consider also the extra power cord, interconect and rack.
the sia30 for 30k, same story, no separates will do as good for the money.
that said, lol, i never heard neither the diablo nor the sia.

it is true that many highend integrated are more of a power amp with a reduced pre inside, still, cashrelativ they are not to beat.

I think there are separates from Luxman and Pass that could throw a monkey wrench in things. But a great intersted has space and cable advantages too. The Diablo 300 and T+A PA3100HV are monster integrated amps.
