Today I received a full loom of Shunyata Sigma speaker cables, IC's, USB, AES, etc.

Just turned on the system and letting them burn in.

Nice. Interested to hear how they compare against the MITs.

Sitting here, initial impressions are that the cables sound very quick, tight tight bass, with a great snap to the sound.

I’ll be interested to hear how the AES/EBU and USB cables sound compared to the MIT and Siltech.

Please tell me that the blue tape isn’t marking the best spot for the cable dumajiggy....or transverse axial polarizer.

I didn’t know they made a usb cable. If I were to guess I’d say the combo of shunyata digital (usb and aes ) with the mit analog and speaker cables might win out.

But can’t wait to read your impressions on how they compare to the mit loom.

These are DAMN GOOD cables. If you love Shunyata power products - these signal cables are as good - maybe better (gasp!). I would consider them as good as anything from other top tier cable manufacturers. Awesome stuff.

At a much lower cost. :)

If I hadn't gone to Peru last month I would have my order in to upgrade to the TOL Sigma IC and speaker. After I get my next stock option grant I most likely will be placing the order.

Absolutely agree with this....Shunyata IMHO is has just rewritten what one can expect from a properly designed digital cable over their entire digital cable line-up, particularly Alpha and SIGMA compared to other top-end manufacturers AND at a much more reasonable price than their competition!

I participated in alot of blind-testing for Shunyata for about 5 months starting in December of last year towards clocking and AES cables....my eyes were opened by the characteristic impedance testing and other aspects of the very early prototypes.

As a result, I tried their new SIGMA AES/EBU and new SIGMA CLOCK50 cables in the past few months. Suffice it say what I heard from their new production cables reset my expectations of what my system was capable of conveying. As a result, the SOTA AES/EBU cables that I'd not found the equal of for almost 4 years in my system finally were sold off and replaced by SIGMA AES/EBU and my existing clock cables (where their was less difference but it was still noticeable to me) were replaced by SIGMA CLOCK50s.

Shunyata just reset the bar IMHO in the industry of what is truly a SOTA/audiophile-grade digital cable line....and at a much lower price point than the 'big guns...'.

To quote another audiophile who was on day 1 & 2 of playback of a new SIGMA CLOCK50 with his Esoteric Grandioso gear a couple of weeks after I had a similar experience....

"Either these cables are this great or I'm F&*$%#g on something!!!"

FWIW
