Shunyata into audience?

Anyone ever try running the ztron pc's through non-shunyata power conditioners? I had a python on loan that to my ears was not head and shoulders over the stock cord with an ARC 5SE. Plugged it into an audience ar6ts as well as straight into wall (psaudio premier outlet, actually). Kinda surprised when my sox barely slipped down my calves.
 
Never tried Shunyata into a different conditioner but did compare the ARC stock cords with a Zitron Anaconda on a Ref 40 preamp and also a Ref 75 amp and found it to be a worthwhile improvement. Was it so drastic that I could not listen to the stock cord again -- no, but I sure didn't want to go back to the stock one. Especially using the Anacondas on both and not just one. The improvement seems to improve greater the more you use. I think this is true with any brand power cords.

I compared going into the wall and also into a Triton and felt the same way w both.

Interesting. Once I get some funds together, PC's are next on my list.
 
Let me try this again. Last time I posted this I got a database error.

In my HT I have a Panamax power conditioner, which runs everything but the TV. It is connected to a dedicated 20 amp line through a Pangea AC9. Recently, I upgraded the Pangea to a Ztron Cobra and was amazed at the result. I am used to Shunyata gear making the sound better in my two channel system, but the Cobra made the picture better. The only video gear affected by this is the Oppo 93. While I was happy with the picture before, after adding the Cobra it was more detailed, and the colors were sharper and more vivid. Definitely, a WTF moment.


Later tonight, or tomorrow, I will review my latest additions. This week I replaced the Panamax with a Shunyata AV, moved the Cobra to the amp, added a Shunyata SR-Z1 outlet to the line, and added a Ztron Python to power the Hydra. Sneak preview is "Wow".

Asked for both anaconda and python samples but they only had the latter at the time. Had hoped I would hear enough improvement with the mid-priced cord that I wouldn't feel the need to go to the top. The rest of the loom is audience as well. Suppose I should go ahead and swap the whole loom out if the lending library can accommodate ... or save myself the hassle and nab a 20amp AU 24
