All kidding aside,...doesn't matter what you have; if it's good, people will always come around to attack it.
Without taking it too far,...there seem to be people in every walk of life who thrive on attacking something, everything, all the time.
They seem incapable of leaving a positive mark on the world, and seem to resent those who do...

The people, for the most part, who are the ones claiming that the cables make no difference are listening on their Denon receivers and surround sound systems. They don’t have the ear or equipment to resolve quality cables, Gene. Muppets and wankers......yep that’s just about right.

The folks you mentioned imagine that audiophile manufacturers are all frauds. They derive their self-esteem from believing that they are saving us from these imagined frauds. Companies like Shunyata threaten their imagined world and this results in them feeling cognitive dissonance. They can’t resolve this by accepting the truth about Shunyata. Thus the only thing left to them is to attack and diminish Shunyata’s accomplishment so they can rationalize them away and hang onto to their imagined reality where they are the saviors.
This gang also picks on UpTone Audio and I believe it has to do with John Swenson so often demonstrating how an objectivist is supposed to behave. If audiophiles claim to be hearing something and John feels that it’s within his area of expertise to get to the bottom of why that might be, he goes after it objectively. This is a tremendous threat to the self-esteem of those who want to be perceived as true objectivists, when in reality there is nothing objective about them at all.
Narcissists attack those who have qualities they admire and wish they had. That they don’t have this quality makes them feel shame. To resolve that shame and feel better about themselves they have turn the person who they admire into someone who is far worse than them. It’s twisted but I think it helps to explain what’s at play.

If you look at the Shunyata website there is a spot for "Grounding Cables" and it indicates Coming Soon!
Not sure if that is a clue.
