Tomorrow I get my new Krell Cipher. I will have an opportunity to use the Krell Cast wires to connect it to my 707 and then use the cast wires to connect the 707 to the Krell amps.

Currently I am using Transparent Balanced cables, but Krell so encourages the use of cast. The dealer will bring some topmorrow.

Has any here used it? Does anyone have an opinion?

Barry...fwiw when my dealer sold Krell they used and preferred the Cast wires however that's been sometime ago. I know that's not much help but it's a start. Keep us posted on your listening impressions and most of all trust your ears.

Dave and joe: thanks?

in a bygone era mark levinson used camac cables and I spent a lot of money but didn't hear a difference. With luck I will get a chance to try this out. I will let you know if I hear a difference.

Barry...oh yeah, I remember the Camac cables;) Do keep us posted on your findings. Also check out the link Joe posted. Good info.

My dealer hated it when I called them "k- mart" cables. Just an interesting note. When ml got rid of them, the did so totally so if you had them they were worthless. Krell at least gives you the option of single, balanced or cast

Barry...lol. A friend of mine recently sold some Camac cables and connectors on Audiogon. He made some good cash on the sale which was hard to believe I guess....
