I got an e mail from Fidelis AV(Harbeth US importer) about a possible upgrade for current SHL5 owners. Unfortunately an upgrade will not be possible. Owners of the other models who bought them before they were upgraded to their current status, also were not afforded the option to upgrade.

Hopefully(If I choose to do so)my dealer will give me a good trade for the SHL5+.

Cool.

I'll wait until my dealer gets a pair then I'll audition them. If there isn't a big difference in the sound, I'll just keep mine.

On the other hand, I always like to have the latest iteration of a piece(or pieces)of gear.

I wasn't there, but by all accounts on the HUG they went down very well. And although they are probably the second worst fit of the range for my room......likewise, I want a pair!
 
Very nice! But aren't they supposed to have some new fangled something-or-other to make everyone want a pair? It's just the same old box. ;)

New Radial driver like the 30.1 and 40.1 with tweaked/enhanced crossover to take advantage. Reports so far have been stellar.
