SHL5 Plus versus 30.1

I like the SHL5+ more than the 30.1 myself.

But to be honest, the Living Voice OBX-RW top them both...of course, I'm biased.

Hopefully Paul will weigh in here. He's had/heard them all.

Did you mean SHL5 or SHL5+?

There's a subtle but significant difference.

these speakers are quite different but both good:

shl5+ = more fuller sound, more bass, can play louder due to larger cabinet

m30,1= the most refined highs of all of them (par with the m40.2), midrange is very seductive, smoother, luscious

personally both are great and i think in the end it boils down to your room size.... if i have a small room, the m30.1 are perfect, otherwise shl5 plus.
