Pinball Machine Movers & Arcade Logistics | Beltmann Integrated Logistics

These guys have moved at least 50 Pinball machines for me in the past few years. Never an incident and many have gone 3000 miles away. They will wrap everything at your house. You need to do nothing. Never an issue with FEDEX either and I have a business account with them. Have never seen a person be able to kick a 150 Pound amp off a truck :)

Don't forget the supplies and tools you'll need to strap boxes to the pallet, like strapping, a tensioner, and seals+sealer.

I’m paying the freight company for a pallet and strapping the items to the pallet. Maybe that’s why it’s around $1,000 from rural NY to Chicago? I didn’t want to impose on the private seller to put it on a pallet himself. Using Airgroup per Miches’ and others’ recommendations.

I agree with most of the above posts.

Another freight line that I have had consistent success with is Old Dominion Freight.

Also have used UPS LTL with 100% success.

For any large items do you have a friend with a trailer or pickup truck. If not consider renting one for a few hours. Go to who ever the shipper is and pick them up, even if it is one at a time. You will need to deal with moving them once they arrive at your property anyway and you will be able to get them closer to your entrance. Some drivers are very helpful others won't do anything.

I have always used FedEx after a UPS driver actually pushed 2 subwoofers off into our gravel driveway and drove away.

Freightcenter takes minutes to join then all you do is type the shipping info and they show you the prices of every freight shipping service available. They offer insurance, personal assistance, residental lift gate option, etc. Look them up.
