As to my prior plinths, I always like to show that I'm not telling stories (but I can't find a pic of my Cain!). Here is my Woodsong mahogany 124 plinth in mid cartridge change.
Loved it. I've had 3. Prices are quite high now, but it's lovely in a basic plinth. I prefer the garrard as I tend to think that having an arm relatively directly mounted to a chassis with a high power motor and a bunch of other moving mechanical bits will compromise the performance. But, still, when properly rebuilt or refreshed, a great table.
