As long as it's neutral sounding, I'm game enough to try it when it becomes available. If the vinyl comes out of the pressing plant already treated, even better!
Outside of a few excellent pressing plants, most scratches/faults on records are caused by the Pressing Plants in the production and packing of vinyl in stupid paper and cardboard sleeves
There would need to be fundamental changes there first.
I know but man one could hope. I've got a few mono early Yardbird records and some mono Beatles records that sure would benefit from a little scratch protection.
