TT: Goldmund Studietto with T5 linear arm and Lyra cartridge, mounted on a Target shelf
TT Pre: Sphinx (Dutch brand) Phono Equalizer
Tuner: Revox B260 S
CD player: Teac VRDS 25X with SAC modification
Cassettedeck: Nakamichi ZX-9
Preamp: Audio Research LS-2 with Philips ECC 288 tube
Poweramp: Threshold S/300
SACD player: Philips 963SA with Van Medevoort mods
Loudspeakers: Adam Audio Compact III, replacing a pair of Apogees which were just to big for my room. :(

Mwah... I bought the Akai because it reminded me of when I was young, this was the kind of system I would drool over. The (mainly) JVC system is actually not bad. JVC launched their DigiFine series to compete with the Sony ES gear. The Yamaha T7 tuner is my favorite, because the presets work with a motor that tunes in to the desired station. Very cool to see it move. The TT is/was an Akai AP-006, heavily modified by yours truly and fitted with an Benz MC 20E2 cartridge. But obviously the 'big system' is in a different league.
