sad days

joes posting looking for the allman bros album reminded me . the allmans are doing their last set of shows EVER!!! tues and wed at the beacon theater. as a fan my whole life i never thought this would come. but i guess its inevitable. i think ive been to 30 or 40 of their shows over the years and several at the beacon and its by far the most fun place to see them. and a fitting end to an awesome lifetime of music. the end of an era!!!!

My friend lives down the block from the Beaxon and tells me every show is jammed. Sorry too to hear it's coming to an end. Always wanted to hear the band one more time but tickets were hard to get and always figured would do it ne day. Oh well....
