Rythmik subs

I bought a Rythmik 15-inch sub 5 or 6 years ago because I finally gave up striving to achieve a superior location for my speakers. After owning the Rythmik sub for a lengthy time, I gave up on it too and decided to satisfy myself with average bass.

However, every now and again, I'd go back to the 1-page summary sheet Rhythmik provides and each time I'd try to read between the lines just a bit more than the last time (which could have been months). Anyway, one day not so long ago, I tried reading between the lines more than ever before and after a few tuning adjustments of a few toggle switches and knobs (I forget which ones), the sub suddenly crossed over the fence from a me-too type of bass to a musically superior bass. And to this day I will tweak and tune for even more improvements.

Prior to this I had already reached out to a few local friends asking if they'd be interested in buying my sub and boy am I glad they said no.

I know it has been quite some time since this thread was responded on, but I ran across it tonight.

As a proud owner of 2 Rythmik F-25's, I can report that these are some great subs with a seemingly infinite adjustability to the room, as well as the mains.

I don't think it is so much the brand (Sorry, Brian), but the technology behind them. @garylkoh actually introduced me to them....and for that, I am grateful for his honesty. His subs are at a different level, but they were also at a different price structure, which at the time, was not feasible for me. It was actually Gary who pointed me in this direction.

Brian (Rythmik) has been instrumental along my audio journey since the purchase of the Rythmiks. From emails responded too on an early morning Saturday, to texts at very odd hours (non business). The sound from these units from when I first acquired them to what gear I have now.....which include full range speakers, has been nothing short of being able to stay up to the very demanding tasks I have placed these subs under.

I will say this, and I will NOT be unabashed about it. These subs respond very well to not only IC upgrades, but PC upgrades as well. I used to think that a sub's incoming cables wouldn't have made much of a difference to the end result? I am very happy to tell you that they respond VERY well to each. What I once thought was an afterthought (the cables themself), I now consider a crucial part of the integration to the overall system and what it presents.

I'd like to take this opportunity to give a shout out to Brian as well, his extreme efforts in helping myself (and in one case, others that were waiting at an audio event) to be able to learn what is is that a sub can actually do to the end result. I don't know how long it has actually been since I got these subs, but I can tell you this....

I wouldn't trade this experience with anything. It has been superb. So, once again, Thank you to both Gary and Brian....for my audio journey would NOT be where it is now, without the both of you. Respectfully and gratefully,

Tom

Very glad I didn't set you down the wrong path Tom. I recommend Rythmik subs for great customer service as well as excellent technology.

Although they use a different servo system, there is a Genesis owner out there who replaced the subs in their older Genesis Technologies speakers with the Rhythmik plate amp and 12" woofer as the Genesis upgrade was too expensive for him on fixed income. He reported that it sounded excellent.
