Here's what's coming from RUSH: Clockwork Angels Tour CD, DVD and BlueRay. DVD includes epic versions of songs rarely performed and never before captured, newly re-worked arrangements, backstage tour documentary, soundcheck footage, tour film outakes and the 3-hour concert in entirety. There are other little surprises too. (RUSH have always been givers).

You know I was not a rush fan when I was younger. But I have a group of friends who are huge rush fans . And they talked me into going to the rush 30th anniversary show a bunch of years ago. It was awesome and I've been a rush fan ever since. Can't believe it took me 30 years to realize it!!!! I'm going to get this!! Thx

Somewhat similar here. I didn't get into Rush until Moving Pictures came out and then I only liked it casually. Eventually though I became a huge Rush fan that I am today. I'm not that into their stuff before the jazz influence (all that screaming). I prefer the non screaming stuff, but being the fan I am I have all the albums from one #1 to present (remasters). Yes, that 30th anniversary tour was incredible. I have the DVD. I've actually never been to a Rush concert and never will. I could never find anyone to go with and it's always unaffordable as I do not want to be super far away from the stage. I'm also not sure I could last 3 hours at a rock concert. (The average Rush concert on any given day is 2.5 hours). Rush is the gift that keeps on giving.

I'm a guitar player and never played the drums, but I often watch clips of john bonham and keith moon on utube i love it!!! but to go see Neil Peart live was the best part of the experience. He is truly the best I've ever seen . And he stole the show.

Being a percussionist myself there ought to be a Neil Peart medal or something. Of course then again, who would win it? Mr Peart is hands down the greatest rock drummer on par with John Bonham and maybe a bit beyond given his diverse skills. Neil Peart is also at least an equal in jazz drumming with Buddy Rich! On top of that he does arrangements and writes most of the lyrics! As the drummer for the Foo Fighters quipped in the hall of fame awards "They let the !@#$!#$#% drummer write the songs! Who does that?!!" It's kind of hard though because I also admire John Densmore, Ashwin Sood, Keith Moon. Then there's Geddy, good ol Geddy. Hands down the best bass player ever! Not to mention one of the nicest and compassionate guys you'll ever meet from accounts I have read. I'm just sayin....:D

Thanks for the info. I'm not much of a Rush fan after the "Signals" album. I think my favs are A Farewell to Kings and Hemispheres but I do like Vapor Trails. I remember seeing a documentary on them and they seem like the least rock star type rock stars that you could imagine. It would be cool to have dinner with those guys.

I've always found it interesting that in Rush fans half prefer everything before Signals and the other half prefers everything from Signals onward except Vapor Trails due to the glaring mistakes in production and engineering on that one, but there was a valid reason and the important thing is that the band realized it and has made good by having it remixed and re-releasing it come October. They are very much non-rock stars as much as possible. They are just well mannered candian boys who are genuinely humble while doing what they love and making sure the fans get quality. (At least that's what every interviewer has ever said about them).
