Roon Tidal sign in problem

I shut my iMac off tonight and when i signed back in i am having one hell of a time signing in to Tidal in the Settings/Services section of Roon. I keep getting a 'Network Error-please check your connection' message..i have had this happen before but have always been able to fool around and eventually get it to take my password.Suggestions please....I use my iPad to go back and forth between using the Lumin app and the Roon app.
 
If you turned the Mac off and left the Lumin in standby and are on a system with static IP addresses the app may be looking for the player at it's last known IP address. I would turn both off and the turn them back on player first and then the app. I have to do it periodically and it has just become habit to shut them both down and start over.
 
If you can put everything in your streaming chain on fixed IP addresses it might help with the problem in the future if you haven't already.
 
Jack.. thanks. Will have to search how to accomplish that but it sounds like a good idea.
