Rogue Preamps

I have a friend that is looking at the Rogue RP-7 or RP-9 pre. Have any of you heard them and care to share an opinion on them.
If so what amps were they paired with.

Brad, I've heard both, paired up with Rogue Apollo 'Dark' monoblocks driving a pair of Wilson WP2's. The whole set up sounded superb to these old ears and I can honestly say I didn't distinguish a diff between the 9 and the 7.

footnote ....... Mark Obrien(Rogue guru) , it was at his house , there was alcohol.

I heard a Rogue Audio preamp, one of the recently released ones although I cannot remember the model, paired with a Bryston cubed amplifier and it sounded great. Definitely has the tube sound character.
