Revelation Audio Labs - closed?

There were instances when he was more active in audio forums (e.g. "Hello" from founder of Revelation Audio Labs) but when one looks at his profile the last time he was active was April 13, 2008. My take from reading stuff all over the web is that he was a small one man show (e.g. Detail by Entity Name or http://search.sunbiz.org/Inquiry/Co...0908\00739200.Tif&documentNumber=P04000126861) and began to advertise on places like Audiogon and couldn't handle the volume of business that started to come his way.

Brad has been running auctions for umbilicals on Agon just recently. After bidding and getting outbid and forgetting to monitor the end — I’m glad I did — a couple of hours later I received a “second chance” offer via Agon for a price well lower than my bid. I actually needed another 0.25m and he was most accommodating and very fair about it. After taking the arrangement off Agon, he got it out that day and it was here two days later.

As I listen 30 hours in — he recommends at least 250 — I can see why his cables are well liked. Dead quiet. Great and increasing clarity. Fast and dynamic. Wide stage with good placement. Mildly warm (pleasant surprise to me for silver). Using piano as a reference, highs are very real, the rest will apparently take longer and hopefully come around as handsomely. For example, Voices/perspective still somewhat distant, rendering the distinctiveness of the singer’s voice somewhat tonally muted. In some ways, a new listening experience already. This is in comparison to an awfully good custom built silver-tinted Belden copper umbilical that is a big improvement over the original cable with the preamp.

Revelation Audio Labs and Brad are definitely open and alive.

I just bought an Umbilical power cable kit for my Phasemation phono stage. Very well made and out of the box sounds excellent.

took 2.5 weeks to be delivered to Sydney. That is very good if you ask me.

Revelation Audio Labs, Inc.

I was not aware of his previous issues, however with one man companies I guess it might be tough to keep up with backlog.

Mike - perhaps it might be better to change the name of this thread to alive and well.
