Hello all, re-introducing myself since I’ve been pretty inactive for a few years now. Didn’t quit the hobby just sort of slowed down. I’m a minimalist at heart so my systems now are all streaming into an IA. I use Roon via Matrix DACs. I have two systems. My first system is in the family room which is off the kitchen. I listen to this when I’m cooking. Cooking is a hobby of mine. It’s really great having it directly across from the kitchen island. The system is comprised of matrix element X, exposure 3510 integrated amplifier, and Heco Direkt speakers (which I adore). The Hecos are very efficient at 95db.
My second system is comprised of a matrix audio element M feeding a sugden a21SE integrated amplifier. The speakers are Klispch Cornwall threes. This system is in my media room. This is a dual purpose room that is used for home theater as well. The home theater system is entirely separate from the two channel system. The home theater system is mid-fi using Marantz and KEF.
Both systems use exclusively chord company cabling. Pics below.
