Ref 160M

Well I bought 8 gold lion KT-88’s and thought I might try them in the ref160m. I have always liked the warmth of the KT88’s. Although I talked with audio research and they said the amps are voiced for the kt150’s I think it will be a interesting to see what comes of it.

So I have had the KT88’s in the ref 160’s for only about 7 hour’s. (Gold Lions). Gotta say that I’m very happy. Warmer, but still defined. It’s still really early in the game to make a full evaluation.

Noticed that my signature doesn’t include my speakers. Vimberg Tondas
