Reducing The Footprint?

is this their new one and where does it fit in the lineup?

smaller foot print is good. my biggest issue with the TNT it doesn't fit the majority of rack shelves, i had to go custom.

Pretty! Looking forward to the particulars.

From what I understand it was an old project that they've reopened.

When I bought a TNT, I bought a new TNT stand from VPI. Now that the TNT is gone, I still use the stand. It currently holds my SP-10 MKII, my Krell KPE phono (not the outboard power supply) and my pair of Ampex 350s. I really like it.

thats a beaut!!! being local to vpi and knowing several vpi dealers , there has been rumors about a table similar to this for a few years now. glad to finally see it.

they no longer offer the TNT stand, in fact they don't really support the 'table except for replacement belts and motors - you cant even buy a armboard for it.

Apparently the new VPI TT is called the Avenger and will be a limited edition. MSRP of $15,000: http://www.analogplanet.com/content/vpi-launches-new-limited-edition-avenger-turntable-rmaf. The feet on the display model at RMAF look like the VPI Classic 3 feet while the feet on the prototype pictured in the first post of this thread are different than what I've seen before from VPI. I like the prototype feet better and I hope they are available as an option at least.

Actually will probably start at $8K with outboard motor and will be $15K with eventual drop in dd motor.

Maybe my TNT stand will go up in value now. $5k and you can have it.
